Who is Satoshi?

Satoshi, or Satoshi Nakamoto, is the pseudonym used by the unknown entity who created Bitcoin and authored the original Bitcoin whitepaper in 2008. To this day, the identity of Satoshi remains a mystery. The word 'satoshi' is also used to describe the smallest denomination of a bitcoin (100 millionth of a bitcoin).
